Jet City Improv
Core track (Improv 101: Intro to Improv, 102: Intro to Scene Work, 103: Intro to Short Form, 104: Intro to Technique and Stagecraft, each seven weeks) plus eight-week courses (201: Intermediate Short Form and Hosting, 202: Narrative, 203: Formats, 302: Advanced Narrative) and drop-ins — the Improv Dojo Mondays 6:00pm, REPS Saturdays 11:00am-1:00pm or Sundays 5:30pm, PRISM second Saturdays and Coven last Saturdays 11:00am-1:00pm, all at University Heights Center. Autumn term starts the week of September 21 2026 with sections Monday to Thursday evenings and Sunday daytimes, taught in the U District at University Heights Center (Green Room and Drama Room), at West of Lenin in Fremont, at the Greenwood Senior Center, Phinney Center and The Dance Studio Seattle, and on the Eastside at Hope United Methodist Church and the Northwest Arts Center in Bellevue.

Seattle Comedy Theater (home of ComedySportz)
The Seattle School of Improv: Improv Comedy 101 and 201 ($385 each including fees; 101 sections start Mon Sep 14 and Tue Oct 20 at 7:30pm, 201 starts Wed Oct 21 7:30pm), with Improv 301, Musical Improv 101, intro and advanced Armando, Unstructured Long Form, Improv for Anxiety and Shakespeare courses also on the roster, plus The Craft of Improv for graduates of 101-301 (Tue Oct 20 7:30pm, $385), an eight-week Intro to Stand-Up Comedy at West of Lenin (Thursdays 7:30-9:30pm, Oct 15 to Dec 10, $385), Improv for Novel Writing (Tue Oct 20 7:00pm, $125) and the Clown House Ground Floor and Upstairs weekend workshops (Sat Oct 24 and Sun Oct 25 11:00am, $200 each). Drop-in jams open to all levels: The Improv Jam (Wed Sep 16 7:00pm, $20), a monthly Musical Improv Jam (Sat Sep 19 11:00am, $20), the Pass the Mic freestyle rap cypher (Sat Sep 26 2:00pm, $20) and the Outside the Lines BIPOC improv jam (second Sunday of the month, 6:00-7:00pm). ComedySportz Rec League is for students ready to perform, The Loop is the long-form track, and there are teen and ages 6-8 summer camps.

Unexpected Productions
Seven progressive levels (Improv 100 through Improv 700: Advanced Rehearsal and Performance) plus specialty workshops — Mime and Improv in Action, Acting for Improvisers, The Art of Dread: Improvised Horror, Improvised Puppetry, Improv & Storytelling for Business Professionals, a Date Night couples workshop and a personal-storytelling workshop; four quarters a year. Fall 2026 classes run late September to mid-November (Improv 700's second session Wednesdays Nov 4 to Dec 9) at the Market Theater in Post Alley, the Georgetown studios (5700 6th Ave S Suite 109 and 650 S Orcas St Suite 101 / Room 217), and The Improv School - Issaquah at 1315 NW Mall Street on the Eastside. Teen classes and camps too.

Bandit Improv Comedy Theater
Four-level longform program — Level 1 'Yes, Let's Do Improv', Level 2 'Scenework and Game', Level 3 'Premise Playground', Level 4 'Performance Play' (coming again soon). Fall 2026 in Seattle at Theater Puget Sound (305 Harrison St): Level 1 Tuesdays 7:00-9:00pm Sept 1 to Oct 20 (Eloise O'Loane), Level 2 as a four-week intensive Wednesdays 6:00-9:00pm Oct 7 to 28 (Annie Barry and Mary C. Parker), Level 3 Sundays 1:00-3:00pm Sept 13 to Nov 1 (Annie Barry); in Tacoma at the Tacoma Armory (1001 S Yakima Ave) Level 1 Sundays 11:00am-1:00pm (Samantha Velucci) and Level 2 Sundays 2:00-4:00pm (Mason Lok), both Sept 13 to Nov 1. Eastside Improv
Eight-week September session at the Redmond Senior and Community Center: Beginner Improv (Mondays from Sept 14 or Tuesdays from Sept 15, 6:30-8:30pm), Intermediate Improv (Monday and Tuesday sections), Advanced Improv (Thursdays from Sept 10), Intro to Musical Improv (Tuesdays), Fun with Improv for 50+ (Thursdays 1:00-2:30pm) and Beginner Improv for Kids (Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm from Sept 24); a six-week Teen Improv at Studio East in Kirkland (Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm from Oct 1); and a four-week November session back in Redmond with Beginner Improv Express (Tuesdays and Thursdays from Nov 10), Beginner Musical Improv (Mondays from Nov 16), Improv Reps (Tuesdays from Nov 10 or Thursdays from Nov 5) and beginner and intermediate 50+ daytime courses (Thursdays from Nov 5). Go Before You're Ready (GBYR Improv)
Intro to Long-Form Improv, an eight-week beginners' course (18+) running Tuesdays 7:00-9:00pm from Oct 6 to Nov 24 2026 at Lumora Theatre, 724 Pacific Avenue, built on listening and agreement, 'Yes, and...', storytelling and ensemble work, with a student showcase at the end of the session; two absences allowed. Free one-off Intro to GBYR Improv workshops precede the term.

The Improv School - Issaquah (with The Clown Garage)
Opened 2026 as a partnership between The Clown Garage and Unexpected Productions — 'a vibrant hub for creativity, connection and alternative theatre on the Eastside'. Unexpected Productions' Improv 100 and 200 run here, alongside Clown Garage's own Clown 100 and 200, giant puppetry, youth clowning, artistic cycling and youth circus. Registration via Eventbrite.
