Angel Comedy — The Bill Murray
The Bill Murray — the official UK home of Second City — runs rolling courses in long and short form improv, stand-up, sketch, clowning and podcasting, plus free comedy writing gyms.

Hoopla Impro
'The UK's biggest improvisation training school, teaching 1000s of people every year' — five numbered levels, each with its own course page: Level 1 Beginners, Level 2 Performance (with show), Level 3 Scenes (with show), Level 4 Long-Form (with show) and Level 5 Advanced. 'No previous experience of impro, acting or comedy needed to take part' — 'Complete beginners are welcome'. Level 1 is £240, payable in full or as £110 then £130 once the course starts.

The Free Association
A two-hour Saturday-afternoon taster class at £29.50 plus a £3 fee, then the Foundation ladder — Start: Level 1, Progress: Level 2, Advance: Level 3 — and Advanced pathways in Premise-Based, Organic and Narrative improv, taught at their Southwark theatre (26 Old Union Yard, SE1 0LR) and at The Lord Stanley in Camden (51 Camden Park Rd, NW1 9BH).

Blanche Improv
Structured as a 'Grad Program' rather than numbered levels: Improv Fundamentals for beginners, then core programmes 'usually taught as weekly courses' of eight classes plus a performance (maximum 12 participants), plus drop-in classes and special-skills workshops, all at CabLab Studios SW5 9EF, 'a short walk from Earls Court station'. Concession rates for people on benefits, low income or Equity members, and payment plans by arrangement. No class prices or dates printed on the site.

A West End school for long-form improv and clown at 1A Tower Street, Covent Garden: 8-week Tuesday-night long-form courses, a 6-week Monday-night Clownprov course, a Monday-to-Thursday four-day long-form intensive, plus weekly Clown Lab game nights (£7.50 for subscribers), a monthly improv jam (£5 for subscribers) and coached scene-practice nights; Leapclub membership is £3 a month.

Showstopper! The Improvised Musical
Improvised-musical-theatre training 'coached by leading members of the Showstopper! team': Tuesday-evening courses from 8 September 2026 at Improvers and Returners levels, a five-day New Year Intensive on 4-8 January 2027 (with a third-time strand for people who have done two courses), and a limited number of scholarship places for members of the Global Majority.

City Academy (Improvisation)
A performing-arts school whose improvisation strand runs Level 1 beginner courses of six to eight weekly sessions at £150-£180, in Farringdon and at partner venues, with further levels and specialist workshops listed in its menu.

City Lit (Comedy Improvisation)
London's big adult-education college teaches comedy improvisation at Keeley Street — a Friday evening course of five or six sessions: 'Have fun acting, with theatre games and character exercises. Build your confidence, meet new people while you will learn and practice the key techniques needed for performing improvised comedy scenes.' £179 full fee (£125 concession) for the six-session runs.

Show Up Collective
A small Walthamstow improv collective running four-week Wednesday-evening class blocks ('The Quad') at St Mary's Church, Church End, £70 for the block, alongside one-to-one coaching and corporate training.

Improv 'Drop In' Workshops — 'stand-alone, fun, two-hour sessions' 'suitable for beginners through to the more experienced' — plus a 'Six-Hour Saturday Improv Workshop' aimed at consolidating the basics, and corporate training. No prices or dates published for the classes.
